Age-based discounts for contactless cards
It's finally here! You can now use your contactless card for bus, tram, or metro travel at an age-based discount. You qualify for this age-based discount if you're at least 65 years old or under 12 years old. To activate the age-based discount on your contactless card, please add it through the OVpay app.
Who is the age-based discount for?
This is a discount of 34%, which you'll receive on the bus, tram and metro, if you:
- are 65 years or older
- are 4 to 11 years old
- are 12 to 18 years old and are traveling in North Brabant
By adding your name, date of birth and photo to the OVpay app, we know whether you receive this discount.
Good to know:
• After adding your personal details, you will immediately travel with the age-based discount.
• Do you travel with different payment cards? Then add the age-based discount for each card separately.
Here's how to add your age-based discount in the app
- Download the OVpay app.
- Add your contactless card.
- Select 'Add age-based discount' and follow the steps.
