Can you already travel with OVpay? We’re happy to help you!

Checking in and out with OVpay is traveling in public transport with your debit card, credit card or mobile. Ideal if you occasionally travel with public transport in second class and without discounts or subscriptions. And soon for everyone.

Are you traveling with the student travel product via DUO, a Business Card or with an OV-chipkaart via your employer? You will automatically receive a message as soon as you can switch to OVpay.

Are you traveling on balance without a discount (full fare, 2nd class)?

Traveling on balance means that you pay for your journey by putting money on your OV-chipkaart. For example, at a machine or by automatic reload of your balance.
Full rate means that you don’t get a discount.
Do you travel 1st class full rate? Then you travel with a supplement. In this case, please answer 'no' to the question.

Are you younger than 12 years old or 65 years and older? Then you travel on the bus, tram and metro with a 34% discount. You will receive this discount on buses in Noord-Brabant up to and including the age of 18.

You can already travel with OVpay. Great! You can check in and out on public transport with your debit card, credit card or mobile phone. Want to know how it works? We are happy to tell you all about it.

At this moment you can’t travel with OVpay. Please keep using your OV-chipkaart as you used to do. In the meantime, we’re working hard to make it possible for you to travel with OVpay with a discount, supplement, a subscription and post-payment.

At this moment you can’t travel with OVpay. You receive a discount due to your age. Please keep using your OV-chipkaart as you used to do. In the meantime, we are working hard to get age discounts on debit cards as quickly as possible.
